St. Thomas Aquinas: Patron of Students

On January 28, we celebrate the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Angelic Doctor and patron of students, scholars, and Catholic schools. As our students face exams, challenging assignments, and the daily effort of learning, let us invoke his powerful intercession. St. Thomas combined towering intellect with profound humility, teaching us that all knowledge ultimately leads to God. In those hard moments—when the material won't click, when focus fails, when the task feels impossible—turn to him in prayer. We are raising saints to seek, know, love, and serve God!
Prayer before Study: "Creator of all things, true source of light and wisdom, pour forth a ray of Your brightness into the darkness of my understanding..."

The Great Conversation Continues
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the University of St. Thomas for Magna Conversatio: The Great Conversation! Dr. Andrew Hayes explored the homecoming of Boethius and the community of the mind, while Katherine Leaño reminded us why time in the natural world is essential for family life. Our teens enjoyed a campus tour, a mock lecture from Dr. Eric Mabry on the Book of Exodus, and a Q&A with current college students.
Missed a talk? Recordings will be available soon on our Formation page.
